With today鈥檚 launch of our 2024 Impact Report titled, 鈥淪olutions That Matter,鈥� we go beyond sharing our green initiatives and are pleased to showcase our advancements in company culture, safety and operational excellence and upgrades our team members are passionate about.
To bring this report to customers, sustainability influencers, internal team members and the general industry, we鈥檙e highlighting how the work and collaborative efforts of our team members, known as solution makers, has led to innovative designs, efficient plant upgrades and award-winning advancements from around the world. And these wins span all three branches of our ESG (Environmental, Social and Governance) pillars.
What鈥檚 new since the last the report:
- With our employees taking the lead, we鈥檝e doubled the number of employee resource groups, increasing acceptance and respect sentiment by 30% in team surveys.
- We achieved over 90% waste recycling across our EMEA sites.
- We were awarded "Sustainability Initiative of the Year" by Business Intelligence Group鈥檚 2023 Sustainability Awards for composting 94,000 pounds in food waste.
As we strive to make 鈥楨arth Day, Every Day,鈥� we鈥檝e developed 2025 goals for our operations.
- Increasing the volume of recyclable waste by 3% year-over-year by diverting waste from landfills
- Reducing energy consumption by 3% year-over-year
- Achieving a 10% year-over-year improvement in Total Recordable Incident Rate (TRIR)
